Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is a really smartly presented park, the orderly collection of rides are joined by expansive open concrete boulevards outlined by regimented planting and landscaping.

The vibrant yellow and blue aerial aerobatics of Talon make for an exciting coaster experience. Along with the usual large vertical loop, zero g roll, immelman and wing over elements that are included on any standard B&M inverter, Talon features some slightly more adventurous non inverting track elements like the breathtaking flying swoop around out of the immelman and a very tight high banked helix close to the ground.

While Talon doesn't lack the intensity, by contrast the new floorless coaster Hydra the Revenge glides as softly as a cloud. Rooted into the hillside terrain the green monster begins with a completely mad heartline roll out of the loading station, setting the scene for some very free-flowing track manoeuvres, like the inclined dive loop, this twisted serpent is a lot less rigid than your usual multi inversion coaster offering a gentle yet delightful voyage.

Steel Force is often forgotten about, hiding down the bottom of the valley the red and grey industrial monster structure towers along the rear perimeter fence, the big clunky lift hill clanks passengers to the summit of the 205ft hyper coaster and the beginning of a joyous zip up and over a lengthy route of pure n simple out n back airtime hills.

If the roller coasters at Dorney Park don't make you wet, their water rides certainly will quite literally. Possibly the best ride in the park is Thunder Canyon rapids ride, which may seem like a very innocent water ride but completely soaks its unsuspecting victims by taking them through multiple waterfalls, and actually through, not the standards rapids waterfalls that tickle the edges of the round rafts, this is an endless stream of drenching cascades, absolutely perfect way to cool off on a hot day but make sure you don't take your shoes on because there won't be much left of them when you float back into the station.

Dorney Park has a very clean atmosphere, the well presented attractions really make for an enjoyable escape
