And here we see the Vekoma Mouse, the most elusive of the usually widespread wild mouse species of roller coaster, is quite at home camouflaged in its dense woodland habitat in Western Pennsylvania, however ecological discoveries suggest it originated from Europe.

While it may initially appear a shy creature, the Mouse thrives on a diet of high maintenance and constant attention. Individual restraints secure its victims more comfortably than the two across restraints used by Maurer and Mack mice.

Traditionally the Wild Mice species have a reputation for aggressive behaviour, savagely attacking their prey from left to right and puncturing them with their sharp braking teeth however surprisingly the Vekoma Mouse has a more gentle nature as it gracefully zig zags around much taller hairpins, thrilling leaping up and down into much more comfortable braking.

Idlewild is a substantial park set in a woodland, there's some quite distinctive zones to the park, the Story Book Forrest features some fairytale scenes in an expansive woodland trail, a western themed area with a small flume ride and haunted swing and an Olde Idlewild section which has some vintage styled amusement rides including a Ferris Wheel, Whip and Caterpillar.

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood of Make-Believe is a very odd ride based on an American children's TV show, you hop aboard a trolley ride aroundt he woods, where the driver will stop to have a chat to some creepy aging animatronics and the plot unfolds . . . you're invited to "come along, come along to the castle hug-n-song"!

Idlewild is an interesting mix of park styles, the woodland almost Blackgang Chine fairytale models, the old time fairground and bizarre childrens trolley ride and water park on the side, make it very unique amongst other American amusement parks.
