I tip my imaginary top hat to the low cost airline, especially Ryan Air, making more corners of the continent accessible to the masses with their affordable prices and opening up the possibilities to discover more and more places and their mad theme park attractions
With tickets for two seats on the plane and a bag in the hold, Jai and myself flew from Stansted to Baden Baden (so good they named it twice) airport and hopped on a shuttle bus to Europa Park
Arriving in the village of Rust was quite surreal, as we drove past, houses, then more houses, then a generic Lidl supermarket, then replica ruins of a roman coliseum! We knew this was going to be an amazing place
The Europa Park resort is so amazingly presented, the large scale, authentic themeing style coupled with beautiful landscaping and an ever-flowing collection of water features, really sets the scene for some breath taking attractions
Detailed scenery with a huge sense of humour, fun and adventure makes what would be generic rides at other theme parks, such as a wild mouse or bobsled coaster very special experiences
We had so much fun at Europa Park it really was an inspirational place to explore
