This cheeky little scamp was called Donitella and she kept whipping away with crumbs of my croissant

As you can see from the green plumage on its head and neck separated from the purplish-brown breast by a white ring, this mallard duck is in fact a male, where as a female mallard would have had brownish feathers and head
